Telappliant Rolls Out Very Latest VoIP Technology
Telappliant, a provider of Internet telephony for U.K.-based small to medium sized enterprises (SMEs), has rolled out its latest VoIP system to support 2.5 million people. Officials with Telappliant said that AngloINFO, one of the largest networks of websites in the world for English speakers based away from the U.K., used the company's expertise and access to state-of-the-art solutions to boost its telecommunications infrastructure.By using VoIP, AngloINFO hopes to reduce international call waiting time, as well as a decrease costs – with both factors due to fall by about 50 percent.Henry Ayres, head of technology at AngloINFO, said his firm's previous set-up had been time-consuming to run and required plenty of resources. "Our organisation now benefits from a VoIP telephone service that effectively supports our business requirements. Telappliant hosts our phone system, so no system maintenance is required on our part and there is always space to accommodate growth,” said Ayres, in a statement. “We can also add extra telephone lines as and when we need them," he said. Tan Aksoy, chief executive officer at Telappliant, said that VoIP is a fast, efficient, cost-effective and reliable communication tool for businesses. It is described as a simple yet scalable option with a wide range of benefits.Company officials claimed that Telappliant was one of the earliest entrants into the VoIP market, giving it valuable experience built up over nine years of providing customers with the very best technology. More than 80,000 users currently subscribe to its vast VoIP network. Back in November, Telappliant launched igen Mobile - a new fixed mobile convergence service which aims to increase staff efficiency while reducing mobile communication costs by at least 50 per cent. igen integrates Telappliant's Voice over IP (VoIP) technology with the U.K.'s fastest growing 3G network (operated by Three) to offer advanced telephony features from a standard SIM card.
