Top Five VoIP Companies Judged by Homepage
Maybe you can’t always judge a book by its cover, but according to Colocation America (News - Alert), you can judge a VoIP company by its homepage. Even more telling than a company’s current homepage is how it compares to its homepage from four years ago. Colocation America used Internet Archive’s tool to assist in determining which companies were worth evaluating. Then they critiqued certain features on different homepages to establish which of the selected companies show the most development. A thriving VoIP company, for example, would have a homepage that has evolved its user interface into something more dynamic than the informational homepage from four years ago. Colocation America’s top five VoIP companies of 2012 therefore represent companies with staying power along with the ability to evolve alongside a growing industry. Broadcore (News - Alert) provides VoIP solutions globally. The company recently headlined in technology-related news for hiring Kristy Thomas as a global sales executive, banking on her expertise to expand Broadcore’s presence in the educational and local governmental markets – a feat Collocation America has no doubt Broadcore will achieve. OnSIP recently partnered with SIP schools to offer students free SIP accounts. By forming this partnership, OnSIP contributes to educating students about SIP, thus meeting the future demands of IP PBX (News - Alert). OnSIP is also the winner of the 2012 Silver American Business Award for Company of the Year. AXvoice is not only a primary service provider of VoIP, but a company the industry relies on for analytics. Most recently, AXvoice conducted a survey that indicates the amount of dollars American households spend on landline phone services versus the amount spent on more current telephony. Statistics like these provide an opportunity for other companies to get ahead in the growing market. IPsmarx has been recognized in the past for their innovative telephony services. In 2011, IPsmarx won the Unified Communications Product of the Year Award for their Multi-Tenant IP-PBX, a product that features cloud based service delivery. Vocalocity (News - Alert) is an Atlanta-based host for VoIP services, recognized regionally and nationally. Earlier this month, Vocolacity was honored as a Georgia Fast 40 Company by the Association for Corporate Growth both for its abilities in drawing in revenue and for increasing company employment. “The VoIP industry has been transcending to be one of the most prominent industries,” said Shawn Adhoot, marketing director at Colocation America. “Since its growth, companies have come and gone, but only a handful was able to make the necessary changes to their website to attract the eyes of viewers today. Whether it’s through social media, blogging or a website facelift, these companies had to do what was necessary to grow to what they are today.”
