Black Box Corporation Renovates its Agreement with CommScope

Black Box (News - Alert) Corporation, a communications system integrator, reportedly extended its agreement with CommScope, enabling it to sell and support CommScope’s enterprise solutions throughout the U.S as an Authorized BusinessPartner.
Black hopes to leverage the renewed five-year agreement to reaffirm its position as the national provider of CommScope solutions.
CommScope, a provider of wired and wireless infrastructure technology through its SYSTIMAX, Andrew and Uniprise brands, explained that its BusinessPartners are independent companies that provide implementation services and IT infrastructure solutions based on its own technologies for corporate, government, small and medium business customers.
As part of the partnership, Black Box (News - Alert) employs a staff of CommScope technicians and has been delivering enterprise infrastructure solutions such as copper, fiber and coaxial cabling, intelligent patching and enclosures.
“Black Box continues to be a valuable partner to CommScope. Its investment in training and resources to support CommScope’s solutions is recognized by us and our customers,” said Stephen Kowal, vice president of Global Channel Sales at CommScope. “Black Box’s geographical coverage and quality help in solving our customer’s most complex problems. We look forward to continuing to grow this partnership.”
Black Box is dedicated to designing, building and maintaining today’s complex voice and data networks with platforms and applications from the industry’s top manufacturers, as well as its own line of products and services.
From the construction of a new office or data center to the latest in routing and switching technologies, it offers complete infrastructure solutions.
The company added that delivering CommScope solutions as part of the Black Box portfolio helped to ensure that it followed through on its promise to offer unparalleled choices for clients and helped make sure it is leveraging advanced technologies so that it can design and implement infrastructure solutions that meet customers’ demands.
In related news, CommScope signed an agreement with Avnet Technology and launched the SYSTIMAX imVision Infrastructure Management solution.
