Catering to the unique needs of small- and medium-sized businesses (SMB), Advanced American Telephones, which manufactures AT&T-branded telephones under a license agreement with AT&T Intellectual Property, has introduced its Syn248 Deskset and Gateway (News - Alert) business phone system.

The Syn248 reportedly provides very good performance for its price. Using the product, startups and SMBs can utilize their resources better and do more for less. 

A company with 24 employees, for example, can make use of all the complete features and support of the Syn248, which consists of 24 Desksets (MSRP for the SB35020 is $179) and two Gateways (MSRP for the SB35010 is $219) for less than $4,750 MSRP (List Price).

The Syn248 solution provides dependable features such as easy, do-it-yourself installation and setup. It allows the small business to combine an existing network and convenient management with the help of a Web-based user interface.

The company recently introduced a new AT&T Telephony Product Line, consisting of a new Session Initiation Protocol (News - Alert) (SIP) gateway and software improvements to the popular Synapse Business Telephone System, providing the flexibility and convenience needed to cater to the communications requirements of SMBs. New SIP Gateway (SB67070) facilitates access to inexpensive VoIP service.
