nexMatrix Reveals Major Enhancements to its Protelity Product
By Deepika Mala, TMCnet Contributor
nexMatrix, a provider of telecommunications solutions including virtual PBX (News - Alert) products, has recently revealed version 2 of its Protelity product, which will give end-users additional control over routine configuration changes and improve billing and reporting features.
Protelity product is a hosted and multi-tenant PBX application, combining enterprise-grade telephony features with the ability to rebrand and manage based on the company’s nexSwitch soft switches.
Resellers and corporate customers, with the help of Protelity, are provided with the ability to take advantage of wholesale rates on SIP termination. Additionally, Protelity also offers a wide range of PBX functionality to their end users.
Company officials confirmed that Protelity version 2, which boasts major upgrades, is starting beta testing this week. The new release will allow duplicate extension numbers to be implemented across multiple tenants, offering end users an enhanced portal, which will further provide them with the ability to make extension moves and other routine changes without needing technical support.
Officials report that Protelity version 2 also includes automatic provisioning of SIP trunks and many other features.
“We recognize that hosted PBX is an attractive product for many resellers and end users,” explained Dianne Ursini, CEO of nexMatrix, in a statement. “Our new Protelity release provides not only high-end PBX functionality, but also a worry-free and proven means to generate profit for resellers without the investment in expensive billing solutions and softswitches. For corporate customers, Protelity offers a way to effectively manage their telephony costs across multiple locations, divisions and departments.”
By using the Protelity platform, users are able to resell hosted PBX and SIP termination services under their own company name, with complete control over price points and billing options.
