Jenne Partners with DATEL Software to Drive Revenue for VARs
By Rajani Baburajan, TMCnet Contributor
Jenne, a value-added distributor (VARs) of IP telephony and unified communications solutions, has signed an agreement with DATEL Software Solutions, a provider of contact center and call accounting applications.
The partnership will benefit Jenne VARs as they can now deliver integrated contact center solutions in Jenne’s VoIP products.
According to Vince Piccolomini, vice president of business development at Jenne, the partnership creates new avenues of income for these VARs while presenting a simple, unified solution for the end-users.
“Our Avaya and Allworx (News - Alert) business partners will be especially excited to learn they can source DATEL’s applications from Jenne, their trusted distribution partner,” Piccolomini added. “Our expertise in telephony, combined with this new relationship with DATEL, will help our customers make a smooth entrance into the growing contact center niche.”
DATEL’s call center products deliver sophisticated features such as real-time call monitoring, detailed live agent capabilities, and historical reporting for call centers in a multitude of verticals. A long-time partner of Allworx and Avaya (News - Alert), DATEL offers solutions integrated seamlessly with Avaya IP Office, Avaya Aura Communication Manager and other products.
Dan Lemke, principal of DATEL, said, “As a DATEL distribution partner, Jenne will be able to deliver a more complete array of VoIP-based solutions, allowing its reseller community to drive higher revenues, while helping DATEL penetrate a wider base of contact center environments. We feel this will be an important and fortuitous relationship for both companies.”
Jenne, also a partner of Allworx and Avaya, feels the partnership will create an opportunity for their VoIP resellers to integrate contact center technologies into the overall voice and data network.
Jenne recently signed a distribution agreement with AMX, a provider of software-configurable meeting room control solutions that eliminate the need for traditional, complex and expensive programming.
Under this partnership, Jenne agreed to distribute AMX's complete line of Enova DVX meeting room appliances, industry leading Modero X-Series touch panels, control pads, lighting and client access solutions for VTC integration, company officials said.
