ZTE Corporation Launches Two New 4G Routers
By Rahul Arora, TMCnet Contributor
ZTE (News - Alert) Corporation, a provider of telecommunications equipment, network solutions and mobile devices, recently launched new 4G mobile routers with data download speeds of 110 Megabits per second. The company claims that its “Pocket WiFi (News - Alert) SoftBank 203Z” and “Pocket WiFi (GL09P)” 4G routers deliver the world’s fastest mobile data access to consumers and businesses. The routers, made available by major Japanese operators SoftBank and eAccess respectively, are for users in Japan.
Powered by Qualcomm’s (News - Alert) new Gobi chipset, these routers are ideal for applications that require a lot of bandwidth. Moreover, these are compatible with three network types – AXGP, FDD-LTE (News - Alert) and W-CDMA. Allowing 900 hours of standby time and 14 hours of continuous use, these routers can be connected by 14 users at one time. The routers are equipped with a 5,000 mAh high-capacity battery.
ZTE Corporation is one of the top five mobile handset and smartphone manufacturers in the world, according to global industry analyst IDC (News - Alert). The company produces a range of mobile devices, including mobile phones, tablets, mobile broadband modems and hotspots and family desktop integration terminals.
The company recently released BigMatrix 9900 series of data center switches. The BigMatrix 9900 product family, designed for large cloud computing and big data scenarios, helps customers achieve higher-density deployment in data centers. Each single slot can support up to 144 10G ports, or 36 40G ports, or 12 100G ports. The Big Matrix 9900 series comprises four models, 9916, 9912, 9908, and 9904, with each unit supporting maximum switching capacity of 84.48T. Big Matrix 9900 meets the oriented service architecture (OSA) standards.
For big data systems, BigMatrix 9900 provides customers the capability to extract non-structurized and non-relevant data from existing databases. BigMatrix 9900 also adopts modular system design, and can be used to build a super-resilient non-blocking bi-directional forwarding platform with the switching capacity of 1.4P (1,440T) in Fat-Tree mode.
