Matrix Announces Successful Interoperability with Vitelity
By Anil Sharma, TMCnet Contributor
Matrix, a major player in telecom and security solutions for SMB and enterprises, and Vitelity, a leading SIP trunk based solution provider, have joined hands to address cost effective transition to VoIP from PRI and analog line.
“We are removing multiple hurdles by joining hands with Vitelity – reliable hardware that is interoperable ‘out of the box’ with SIP trunks and doesn’t cost a small fortune,” said Shaun Trivedi, director-business development North America for Matrix Comsec, in a statement.
Trivedi said that by working closely together, both organizations are able to support system integrators and VARs more efficiently.
He said that Matrix has a wide range of VoIP gateways loaded with a set of advance features that help businesses to save telephony cost, offer mobility and flexibility to remote staff, as well as increase productivity and overall company efficiency.
Earlier in January, Vitelity and Sangoma Technologies (News - Alert) Corporation, a provider of hardware and software components that enable or enhance IP communications systems for both voice and data, had announced that they have completed interoperability testing and the certification of Sangoma’s Vega series of gateways with Vitelity SIP trunk service.
Vitelity and Sangoma have partnered to simplify the configuration of Sangoma’s Vega Voice over IP (VoIP) gateway products when they are deployed on Vitelity SIP Trunking endpoints. Working together, Vitelity and Sangoma have developed a simple configuration tool to enable integrators to start using the Vitelity/Vega solution quickly and easily.
